Frank
M. Micali, CCIM is Vice President of C.A. White, Inc., a
commercial real estate development and brokerage firm
based in New Haven, Connecticut. C.A. White owns and
manages approximately 2,000,000 square feet of retail,
office and residential apartment buildings in Connecticut
and New York. Currently, the company is working on a
project entailing the conversion and rehab of a former
downtown New Haven office building. When completed, the
project will include 100 residential units and 20,000
square feet of street retail space and is projected to
cost $12,000,000. As head of the Commercial Real Estate
Division at C.A. White, Inc., Mr. Micali has
responsibility for retail, office, R&D, real estate
investment sales, leasing, and management.
With more
than 15 years of experience in commercial real estate, Mr. Micali
is a recognized leader in the real estate industry and within
the community. He was appointed the 2001 Connecticut President
of the Commercial Real Estate Investment Institute (CCIM), CT
Chapter, the leading national organization of Commercial Real
Estate experts and an affiliate of National Association of
Realtors (NAR). He has served as Chairman of the Commercial
Investment Division (CID) of the New Haven County Real Estate
Board and is one of founding members of the Downtown Broker’s
Committee for a Better New Haven.
An active participant in the community particularly,
notably with the Big Brothers/Big Sisters Association, Mr.
Micali has mentored his “son” as a big brother for more than
five years now. He is also an active member of the exclusive
Quinnipiac Club in downtown New Haven.

Engagements: Mr. Micali
has been invited on numerous occasions to share his wealth of
knowledge and expertise in the Commercial Real Estate Industry.
He was a lead speaker at the Connecticut Conference on Housing
and Commercial Real Estate hosted by the University of
Connecticut as well as participating on numerous industry
panels. In 2002, he was a guest speaker at the Connecticut Real Estate
Exchanges annual State of the State in Commercial Real Estate.
Mr. Micali was a guest lecturer at the University of New
Haven’s Graduate School on “Zoning Issues.”
Spokesperson:
Mr. Micali serves as a resource to local and national media and
is often quoted as a spokesperson on Connecticut real estate and
urban economic development issues. Recently, he was also asked
to testify as a commercial real estate expert in 2002 on Connecticut’s Transportation Strategy Board a special
board under the direction of Governor John G. Roland. Mr. Micali
also writes a bi-monthly Commercial Real Estate Column,
published by Corporate Connecticut Magazine.

Professional Education:
Mr. Micali
attended several universities with a concentration in business,
lastly at Central Connecticut State University concentrating on
economics. In 1997, he acquired the coveted Certified Commercial
Investment Member Certification from the CCIM Institute an
Affiliate of the National Association of Realtors “(CCIM)
designation”. (A CCIM designation is considered the PHD of
Commercial Real Estate Investment Education. Each CCIM has
successfully completed over 200 hours of a graduate level
curriculum. The curriculum focus is financial, market, user
decision and investment analysis – the cornerstones of real
